Overview and Experience

I believe our children are our future.  Growing up I wanted to be a mom more than anything else in the world.  I looked forward to watching my kids grow and change, teaching my kids how to do things and I was excited to watch them experience their world for the first time.  I chose to explore a career in pediatric physical therapy because I was fascinated by child emotional and physical development and wanted to help kiddos navigate their environment as independently as possible.  I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and I  worked in a pediatric clinic until I gave birth to my daughter in 2004.   I was lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mom until my kids were 9 and 7, when I went back to work as a pediatric PT in a clinic as well as in a school setting.  I have seen the devastation that neglect and abuse can cause kids and how instability at home impacts them socially, behaviorally, and academically.  After experiencing my own high conflict divorce and custody battle, I have seen how “in the child’s best interest” is a myth in our legal system and that the safety of children is frequently overlooked while parents’ rights are at the forefront.  I became a high conflict divorce and custody coach because I am passionate about protecting the most vulnerable members of our society - our children.

In addition to being passionate about protecting children, I am also dedicated to teaching others how to navigate the family court system whether you are still in an abusive relationship or your divorce was final years ago.  People in abusive relationships are encouraged by our society to leave the relationship, yet the legal system often fails them once they do leave.  NO ONE deserves to be abused - verbally, emotionally, physically, sexually, spiritually, financially, or legally and my goal is to help you get through this process with grit and grace so that you can emerge from the storm stronger than ever before.
